My 8 Wonderful Grandchildren!

On Thanksgiving Day my children surprised Rick and I with this photo in a large beautiful frame as an early Christmas gift. I was surprised and so happy to receive this gift. They all got together a couple of days before and were able to pull this off quickly. Thanks to photography savvy daughters of mine. From L to R: Gracie (8), Olivia (8) holding Ryker (10 months), Cora (17 months), William (5), Ian sitting (11) holding his brother Andrew (5 months) and Madilynn (8).  We had everyone home for Thanksgiving. It was awesome!!
The day after  Thanksgiving our twin granddaughters Gracie and Madilynn were baptized members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We were again blessed to have this ordinance performed when we were all together. Backrow: Hilary and fiance Jay, Martin holding Ryker and Kelsey, Sitting: Jeff holding Cora, Lea, Jennifer, Rick, Cordie, Michael holding Andrew, Front:  Gracie, Olivia, Madilynn, William, and Ian.

Me and my grandbabies. They make me so happy. Unfortunately Ian is not pictured.

My Baby Is Graduating From College

Hilary graduates today. She'll be walking to receive her Bachelor's degree tonight from Brigham Young University Idaho. We are so proud of her and her many accomplishments.  She'll have a major in communications with a minor in history finishing with a GPA of 3.8.  She took a two year break from education to serve a foreign mission to Seoul, South Korea for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from 2012 through 2014. Her next pursuit will be to travel back to Seoul to meet the family of her soon to be fiance Jay in a couple of  weeks. We'll be planning a wedding at the end of October. She is a professional photographer/web designer. She will also be teaching English to Koreans. Her website is hilaryhendricks.com.  Hilary is an extremely hard worker and motivated person. When she sets her sights on something she achieves it. She is an amazing woman. We couldn't be any prouder of who she is and what she's done with her life. We are blessed.

My New Grandson Andrew

This was taken July 3, by their mother Cordie in Logan, UT. Olivia (8), William (will be 5 in August) holding Andrew (9 days old), and Ian (11 in two months). I can't believe how old my grandchildren are getting.
Andrew was born June 24, in Logan, UT. He is the fourth child to my daughter Cordie and her husband Mike. Cordie has the easiest time delivering her babies. She's very fortunate. Andrew was her smallest baby at 7lbs 5ozs and 19 inches long. This makes eight grandchildren for Rick and I. We have four grandsons and four granddaughters.
We are in love with him.
So now the kids are fighting over who gets to hold Andrew. They are loving him more than ever. I feel so blessed to have eight healthy, happy, and beautiful grandchildren. It's amazing how each one makes me feel. It is the best.

Getting Big

Pretty Cora.
Cora with her loving sisters Madi and Gracie. My daughters Cordie and Hilary went to visit Lea, Jeff, and their girls last fall. Cordie did a family photo shoot. This is one she took. I love this one. The photos of Lea, Jeff, and their girls on the side bar are by Cordie.

In her Sunday dress.
This was while they were here during Christmas. She was so good during their visit.

Look at those amazing eyes.

With big sister Madi. I can feel the love.

Cora's balancing act in her daddy's hands. It is so funny to watch. In just two weeks she'll be 8 months already. Time sure flies. That just makes me getting older faster.

Ryker Bills

On Tuesday, January 20, 2015 our seventh grandchild and third grandson was born at 9:40 pm at Logan Regional Hospital, Ryker Blls. Kelsey had a tough labor and delivery and developed an infection and fever during labor.  Due to that Ryker had to be on an IV in the NICU until Saturday, January 24. He is doing great. His parents are madly in love with him and they are grateful to be now home with him. He is perfect! I am so glad he is here and I'm so proud of Kelsey and Martin. Congratulations you two!

Kelsey and Martin's official announcement on having a boy.
Kelsey with a big smile before she felt real pain and suffering. Her epidural didn't take, so she really did feel everything.
7lbs 13oz 20.5 inches long.

After two and a half hours of pushing Ryker finally decided to be born.

The transformation of Martin and Kelsey to first time parents was awesome to watch. Martin was so amazing during the labor and delivery. He is such an awesome dad already. They are loving having their son. I love what having a child does in changing us into parents. It is very humbling and changes everything we knew before.

Being stuck in the NICU wasn't the most enjoyable for Kelsey and Martin.
But Ryker took it all in stride. He is a tough baby already, being poked and prodded several times a day.
I'm so proud of Kelsey. It wasn't an easy labor and delivery. But she did it.
Ryker all pooped out!
