My ride on the Gondola. Awesome. This is an advanced place to ski. There is no beginner area at all. It kicked my out of shape butt. But I didn't fall once.

Sun Valley
Skiing Bald Mountain has been a dream of mine since high school when my ski bum teacher Mr. Cassidy would ski there and tell the class how fabulous of a place it was. I finally had that dream come to fruition.
Bald Mountain.

Sun Valley resort is a 5 star ski area. I had to have a picture of the women's bathroom but I didn't intend to be in the picture. However, a nice lady saw I was taking a picture and said she'd take it with me in it. The same owner of Little America and Grand America Hotels in Salt Lake City owns Sun valley resort. A season pass costs over $1,800.00. I think the expense played a role in keeping me from skiing here for so long.

Looking from the top of the mountain at 9,150 ft high and over 3,100 vertical ft. That's over twice as long as Beaver Mtn where I usually ski.
Sawtooth Mountain range.
Ketchum, Idaho.

San Diego
Rick and I went to San Diego for spring break. It was great fun. Except for the 7.2 earthquake on Easter and then waking up to a couple of 5.1 aftershocks early Monday morning from the 7th floor of our hotel. Try going back to sleep after that. But we did. Click on the collage to enlarge.
