Winter and Summer

It snowed quit a bit recently on the Oregon Coast. Madi and Gracie had a blast! Hilary was very excited about it too.
Jeff came home from lunch early to make a snowman with his girls. Did you notice the twin snowmen in the first picture? Adorable Jeff.
Cordie and Mike, along with Will took a short trip to Miami last Monday. At the beach 85 degrees. Such a world away from SE Idaho.
South Beach, Miami. Only a two hour drive for them. Right now I'm wishing that's all it was for me too. I sure need a healthy dose of vitamin D. Cordie and Will look great. I can't wait to kiss those cheeks. The baby that is.

Halloween Grandkids

I always look forward to see my grandkids' costumes. This year is no exception. Someday, I hope to be with them when they go trick-or-treating. It cracks me up that Olivia still gets to wear flip flops.

This is our youngest daughter. She is a sophomore in college and we miss her so much. She is such a fun loving girl. Can't wait to see her at Christmas.

Lunch With Ian

I stole these pictures from Cordie's blog. Every Friday either Mike or Cordie and Olivia eat lunch with Ian at school. Ian loves it. They're taking advantage of it until Ian gets old enough and discovers that parents are embarrassing. Time goes way too fast. Lately, I've been missing when my girls were little. I loved those precious years. Now my two oldest get to have those wonderful experiences of their own.

180th Semi-Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Twins Turn 3 Today

Lea and Jeff's twin daughters, Madi and Gracie turned three today. Happy Birthday Girls. We wish we could of been there. Their grandma Lau and great grandparents are visiting. The girls are getting spoiled too; according to Lea. We get to spoil them for Christmas.

Encounter With A Gator

While in Florida I was on a walk when I saw a gator in the canal that runs along the walking/bike path.On the other side is a main highway. You wouldn't really expect to see one but there it was. I had to get a picture of it and get as close as I could without getting eaten. Yes, I am a little daring sometimes. I only had my cell phone to take a picture so the quality isn't very good and the clouds were reflecting on the water. He was probably 6 feet and stared at me with those menacing eyes the whole time. As I got closer to it he got closer to me.

Naples, Florida Zoo

Have you ever been to the zoo in over 90 degree temperature and 87% humidity? Now I can say I have. Naples has a beautiful zoo, very tropical and lush. Michael, Ian, Olivia, and I really enjoyed ourselves. Cordie enjoyed having her alone time with her new baby boy.
