I went to California to spend a little R&R with my dad and Joann. It is always good to go back to my roots from time to time. Plus I got to see some green after living with the white cold stuff for several months.

On the left of the picture is the Staples Center (white oval building). This was last Saturday when the NBA All Star activities were going on. Had I known about that sooner I would of least tried to get tickets.
Joann's place. Joann is a long time friend of my family. Her daughter and I were good friends growing up. I stayed with her.

Large pool area. This is such a great adult community. I wish I could buy a unit here.

This is my 79 year old ex-stepmom, Oeeta. She had to put up with me while in my turbulent teenage years. She lives in the same adult community as Joann. Sadly she's moving to live with her daughter in Austin, TX at end of the month. I was so glad I was able to see her and say good-bye. It was bitter sweet.

Ken and his wonderful wife Karen. Ken is a long time friend and school mate of my dad's. They are some of the best people I've ever known.

Earlier today I went for a walk to capture the beauty of where I live. We've had a lot of snow this winter. This is our golf course.

While I was at the golf course I must of scared off over 50 head of deer. There were 15 head of Elk too, but I accidently deleted those pictures.
